Terms & Conditions

PAYMENTS

Orders under £500 - Full payment is required to confirm the order.

Orders over £500 - A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the order. The balance is due 2 weeks prior to the event date.

Late bookings taken 14 days or less prior to the planned event are payable in full at the time of the booking regardless of total due.

 

CANCELLATIONS

In the event of a cancellation, the client will forfeit any deposits having been made. In certain circumstances, and by the discretion of the Amoré Desserts Ltd, a deposit may be deferred to secure an event on an alternative date. Any costs incurred for a particular event, that otherwise would not have been incurred; will be charged in the event of cancellation unless Amoré Desserts Ltd are able to mitigate their loss.

 

MENU & PACKAGING AVAILABILITY

All items on our menus are subject to the availability of products and ingredients. Where it is not possible to supply an agreed item, the client will be notified at the earliest possible time, when replacement items will be offered.

PRINT DISCLAIMER

When customization/personalised products are ordered Amoré Desserts will provide clients with a draft/preview which the client is responsible for proof reading/checking. Amoré Desserts will not accept liability for any errors after the client has approved the final draft. Please double check artwork before approving, as we may not be able to stop the press once approved and additional charges will apply for corrections/reprinting.

 

Please note that printed colours may vary from their digital representation. Due to many factors, but not limited to customer monitor calibration, printer manufacturer and set up, base material, design and viewing software, Amoré Desserts Ltd does not guarantee 100% colour accuracy of printed items.  We will do our absolute best to ensure that the colour on the proof and print colour are as close as possible. Colour represented on a monitor will most likely appear brighter than the actual printed item.

 

STORAGE OF PRODUCTS

The client must ensure the availability of adequate storage/refrigeration facilities. Amoré Desserts Ltd will not be liable for any issues caused by lack of adequate storage after delivery.

 

DIETARY & ALLERGENS

All chocolate is naturally gluten-free. No products in any of our chocolate ranges which are available to order online contain gluten in their recipes. Some of our desserts, such as tartlets and mini wafer cones, do contain gluten. Our mini wafer cones are made with ALMOND FLOUR, therefore they may not be suitable for those with nut allergies. We will always state in the description whether an item is gluten free. Although we take all necessary precautions to avoid cross contamination, we cannot guarantee that trace amounts will not be present.

 

Our menu items are do not contain eggs. We do not use nuts unless requested by customers for certain desserts. Our chocolates do not contain nuts and we do not offer the option to add nuts. Although we take all necessary precautions to avoid cross contamination, we cannot guarantee that trace amounts will not be present.

 

All our products are suitable for Vegetarian and Halal diets. Vegan alternatives are available upon request.

 

LIABILITY

Amoré Desserts is not liable for any frustration of this contract caused by strikes, labour disputes, accidents, extreme weather or any other cause beyond our control and outside the ordinary and reasonable contemplation of the parties at the time of this contract. In such an event, Amoré Desserts shall use reasonable endeavours to offer the client alternative services, if such can be found and are acceptable to the client (such acceptance not to be unreasonably withheld).

 

In the event of a cancellation made by Amoré Desserts Ltd due to circumstances beyond their control, Amoré Desserts Ltd will by notice in writing to the client, terminate the agreement and return to the client any payments made to Amoré Desserts Ltd by the client, less any costs, expenses or liabilities howsoever incurred in respect of the proposed provision of the catering services.

 

COVID-19 SPECIAL TERMS

Cancelling events due to Covid-19 Government Measures: We will only be able to negotiate a refund of Deposits and Payments (Minus any costs already incurred by us to facilitate your order), if the event is cancelled due to Government COVID-19 Public Health measures which prevent your planned event from taking place. This applies to cancellations a maximum of 4 weeks before the planned event date. If within 4 weeks of your planned event date, the Covid 19 Government Public Health measures prevent your planned event from taking place, please contact us to arrange a refund of monies paid (Minus any costs already incurred by Amoré Desserts to facilitate your order).
